Darcy has been a member of the UVG for just over a year and has performed with the group at the new Theatre Royal and The Wedgewood Rooms. She is a keen student and studies a variety of subject including BTEC Music. Darcy performed a solo at the Wedgewood Rooms concert which was also used by her school to assess her BTEC solo performance unit. Her teacher was very impressed with her progress commenting that “she has blossomed as a singer and sings with expression and conviction”. Although singing is a huge part of Darcy’s life she is keen to build a career and her ambition is to study Law. However that won’t stop her performing music!

“I’ve loved every moment of UVG and my favourite moment was performing at the Wedgwood rooms in December! UVG is something that I look forward to every week! Nobody judges you and I’ve finally gained some confidence! Performing on a stage is something I aspired to do and UVG gave me the opportunity to do that and so much more! I’ve also made friends that are life-long and want to stay with The UVG for as long as I can!!”
