Amba Tremain

Amba Tremain is The UVG’s Musical Director. A professional musician, session singer, songwriter and band leader who has been performing since the age of 5. She trained at Tring Park Performing Arts school in Hertfordshire and has been working in the performing arts and music industry ever since. A versatile vocalist, she is capable of many different vocal styles and genres and brings together technical excellence and a vast range of industry experience. Her achievements include a gold disc for her backing vocals on Eva Cassidy’s 2008 album ‘Somewhere’ and providing backing vocals on the 2013 album ‘This is what I do’ by Boy George. Amba is also affiliated as a songwriter with Syco/Sony and Atlantic records working with artists including Ella Henderson, Newton Faulkner and Jerry Williams.
