Amy has been coming to the UVG for 3 years and has enjoyed opportunities to perform at concerts and at local competitions. She has worked hard developing her voice and technique and has recently been mentoring peers at a project near her home. Amy is currently studying media history and art in school and would like to pursue a career in media or something performance related.
Amy says…
“I’ve been at UVG since I was 11 and have had so much fun and experiences since then. I have grown up with the group and have become a much more confident singer, performer and person. I would never have been able to get up and sing in front of people if I had not gone there as everyone supports you and doen’t judge. I’ve made lots of friends in the UVG and my favourite moment was performing with a live band at the Wedgewood Rooms last year”
