Georgina says…
My favourite moments with UVG is probably the rehearsals leading up to a gig/performance and the actual performance as I love the vibe and the amount of passion that goes into our singing. After college my aspirations are to go into the Royal Navy as a Medical Assistant, although I love singing and will always keep this as a hobby alongside my career in the Navy.
Before I came to UVG I wasn’t the most confident person, and would just sing in front of my mirror at home. Now that I come to UVG, it’s somewhere to let my voice out and somewhere to make friends with people who share the same passion as you. Thanks to UVG I’m more confident and have a lot more friends. I think UVG is different to other youth choirs because we take songs from the charts and make them our own. Every person who comes to UVG has their own individual style and we all use them to perform in our way and at the end it sounds amazing!
